Occupying an area of 39,000 square meters for the most part covered by Atlantic Forest, the zoo, the park is a great option for tourism with environmental education and contact with nature. The Park is distributed as follows: World of Birds which can be observed in an environment of bromeliads and philodendrons, venues that are home to birds of different species such as macaws, toucans, guans and 4 lakes with swans, flamingos and teals that give a spectacle of rare beauty; Mammals which highlight various species of monkeys, tigers and lions in addition to the alligators. A Terrarium, with several species of snakes and spiders complete the collection. The Aquarium is one of the great attractions. There are approximately 50 species of freshwater fish, represented by Pacus , tilapia, carps .There is a Archaeological Museum, where one can observe fossils thousands of years old. The Oceanographic Museum has a large collection, with rare species of fish, molluscs, crustaceans, algae and coral.

In the year 2006 they had theire 25th anniversarry. Have they made any books on this occassion?
